The Communications (COMMS) Team

The Communications (COMMS) Team is a department-wide group that focuses on improving internal communications across the Department of Mental Health. It consists of representatives from psychiatric facilities, habilitation facilities and state operated programs, regional/satellite offices, and director’s office programs. COMMS Team members act as communication liaisons sharing information to and from Central Office and their respective facilities, programs, or offices. This direct line of communication is intended to increase overall team member engagement, help with understanding how they fit into the bigger picture, and provide an opportunity to contribute to department decision making.
